Descartes Transport Management System Infodis (TMS ID) ensures optimal guidance of transport processes. Our services enable our customers to reduce their transport-related costs significantly. The software is delivered as Software as a Service (SaaS) to multi-national and medium-sized companies. After the initial setup is completed and customers have been using the system for a prolonged period of time, new needs arise. If you match the best carrier for each shipment, you can achieve cost savings. Actual rate information can be uploaded regularly by the customer organization or can be outsourced to the Descartes Customer Support team.

Introduction
To optimize the transportation process, it is important that the system is provided with the most recent carrier rate information. Using Transport Management System Infodis, customers upload the carrier rates using a rate sheet in excel format via the website. By outsourcing conversion to the required format and the upload in TMS ID, customers are able to concentrate on their core business.

Scope
The Rate Upload service includes:

• The conversion of the rate information provided by the carrier to the format required by Transport Management System Infodis.
• The upload of the rate information to the acceptance environment.
• Checking the rate information using a random sample.
• The upload of the same rate information to the production environment after the customer has approved the information using the acceptance environment.
• Communication between predetermined key users and Descartes Customer Support.

Excluded are: • Software and mapping changes related to rate management.

• 1st line support on rate management. Descartes Customer Support will communicate with identified key users only.

• Self-billing statement checks.

The price is dependent upon the number of uploads. For every unique combination of:

“carrier” – “depot” – “destination country” – “transport mode” a rate sheet has to be uploaded to TM IS. For a custom-made offer, please contact sales.
